Scott L. Vernick discussed the Supreme Court's ruling that long-term police GPS monitoring of a suspected drug dealer constituted trespassing. Vernick discussed the implications this ruling may have on the private sector's use of digital devices, such as smartphones, to track employee's whereabouts.
