Scott Vernick appeared on Fox Business Network's The Willis Report to discuss the controversy surrounding the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and other efforts to fight piracy on the Internet.  He discussed the difficulty of trying to prevent piracy while maintaining Americans’ free speech as well as the need for better international cooperation among law enforcement to shut down sites offering pirated materials, instead of targeting online search providers such as Google and Yahoo.
