By making a concerted effort to donate their time and services back to society, our attorneys are involved first-hand in making a lasting impact on their region.
Our broad-based pro bono program includes legal services at no cost to individuals who need assistance as well as various religious and community groups, nonprofit associations, and social welfare and human resources organizations.
As one of the first major Philadelphia law firms to establish a policy of mandatory pro bono service for our first- and second-year associates, we believe pro-bono work is both a duty and a priority. Lawyers and paralegals participating in the program receive credit for time spent on those matters. Pro bono hours are also a factor used to determine base salaries and bonuses.
