Mission Statement
To retain and promote qualified female attorneys of all backgrounds, to build an inclusive, diverse working environment, and to increase flexibility in how work gets done and how careers are developed.
In recognition of the fact that women in the legal profession are faced with unique issues and challenges, Fox Rothschild has created the Women’s Initiative at Fox Rothschild to aid in the advancement of women within its ranks and within the legal profession in general.
Fox Rothschild’s Women’s Initiative focuses on issues both internally – including mentoring programs, peer support, training and team building, and externally- including networking events, social gatherings, educational seminars and charitable activities.
The Women’s Initiative is focused on the following goals:
- to provide its female attorneys with opportunities to develop and strengthen both personal and professional relationships within the firm;
- to assist in the career advancement of female attorneys, enhance the work experience/environment of all female attorneys and provide appropriate and fair policies to address the challenges faced by a large number of female attorneys;
- to create and support business development opportunities for female attorneys;
- to further the firm’s commitment to the community by developing and supporting female-oriented charitable and other programs in the community.
Under the direction of its chairs, the Women’s Initiative at Fox Rothschild has dedicated itself to the advancement of women attorneys within the firm and within the legal profession generally.
